Dr. Nicolas Regaud (FRANCE) was with the French Ministry of Defense. His research topic was "Security Issues in Southeast Asia."
Dr. Paul Stares (U.K.) was with the Brookings Institute. His research topic was "NATO/West Europe Defense Planning."
Mr. Asylkhan Zh. Serikov (KAZAKHSTAN) was Assistant Director, Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His research topic was "Kazakhstan as a Euro-Asian State: Foreign Policy and National Security."
