Economy & Global Issues

The global economy is experiencing significant benefits from globalization, particularly in terms of economic growth, poverty reduction, and technological innovation, which is driven largely by the rapid development of global supply chains in Asia. At the same time, we are confronting environmental challenges, financial crises, and growing inequalities, which are emerging as complex economic, political, and social issues within individual countries.

JIIA is conducting research from a multifaceted perspective to promote sustainable economic growth and to help reconstruct rules-based economic global governance based on multilateralism.
