“Traditional Security in the Indo-Pacific” Project   Final Report

The Japan Institute of International Affairs launched the "Traditional Security Risks" research project in fiscal year 2023 to ascertain, organize, and analyze the various security risks facing Japan in an increasingly serious security environment. We have now compiled the project’s final report – "Traditional Security in the Indo-Pacific” – and we hope it will be helpful in considering Japan's future security strategy.
