PECC's activities
Activities of the Japan National Committee for the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (JANCPEC)
The basic unit of the PECC organization is the national/regional committee established in each country and region. In Japan, the Japan National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (JANCPEC) is composed of members representing Japan's business, academic, and government sectors, which are deeply involved in the economic development of the Pacific region. It serves as a platform to invigorate research and policy dialogue aimed at realizing Pacific economic cooperation and the Pacific community envisioned by PECC. Specific activities include contributing to PECC's international task forces (Signature Projects), as well as managing and implementing domestic task forces (International Projects) organized by JANCPEC. In addition, JANCPEC regularly holds national conferences.
