In principle, CSCAP convenes a General Meeting biennially (The first was held in June 1997 in Singapore). The General Meeting serves as an outreach activity for CSCAP, providing a forum to widely disseminate its work to government officials, researchers, and media representatives, with the aim of actively shaping public opinion.
