Roundtable Discussion with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

On July 2, the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held a roundtable discussion with H.E. Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From JIIA, President Kenichiro Sasae, Deputy Chief Executive Director Maki Kobayashi, and Chief Research Fellow Tetsuo Kotani participated. The Institute also welcomed Professor Yoko Hirose of Keio University, Professor Atsuko Higashino of the University of Tsukuba, Professor Michito Tsuruoka of Keio University, Professor Yoshihiko Okabe of Kobe Gakuin University, and Associate Professor Yu Koizumi of the University of Tokyo.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views and information on the current situation surrounding Ukraine, ongoing diplomatic efforts, endeavors and prospects toward achieving a just and lasting peace, and future avenues for cooperation, resulting in a highly substantive and insightful dialogue.
