【Registration Open】 International Symposium, ‘Safeguarding the Maritime Domain for the Free and Open Indo-Pacific’
The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and the Stratbase Institute will co-host a symposium titled “Safeguarding the Maritime Domain for the Free and Open Indo-Pacific” on Friday, March 6, 2026, March 6, 2026 (Friday) from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (PHT) at the Isabela BC, Makati Shangri-La, Makati City, Philippines. The symposium will be live-streamed on Zoom.
The symposium aims to convene leading scholars, policymakers, and government officials from across the region to examine emerging maritime security challenges, reassess policy responses, and identify ways to deepen cooperation in the promotion of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
