On June 3, 2024, The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA）conducted the annual Strategic Dialogue with the Institute for National Policy Research (INPR, Taiwan) in Taipei. The meeting saw a lively exchange of views on cross-strait relations, international affairs, and Japan-Taiwan cooperation. The delegations were headed by Amb. Kenichiro Sasae, President of JIIA, and Dr. Tien Hung-mao, President of the INPR.
