The global economy is reaping significant benefits in terms of economic growth, poverty reduction, and technological innovation due to the progress of globalization, especially the rapid development of global supply chains in Asia. At the same time, we are faced with environmental problems, financial crises, and inequalities that are emerging as complex economic, political, and social problems in individual countries. JIIA is conducting research from a multifaceted perspective toward realizing sustainable economic growth and reconstructing rules-based economic global governance based on multilateralism.
