Asian Scholars Forum 2026を開催しました。

2026年9月8日に、東京・弊所にて「アジア若手研究者によるフォーラム（JIIA Asia Young Scholars Forum）」を実施しました。弊所では、2022年度からアジア各国の有望な若手研究者（フェロー）を日本に招聘し日本各地を回り、政府や識者らと外交安全保障問題につき議論を行い、互いの理解を深めるプログラムを続けてきました。今回過去の参加者16人全員が参加し、大使経験者や国際関係の有識者も交えて、米中対立が深まるなかで変貌を遂げつつあるインド太平洋地域の今後について、アジア各国が今後目指す方向などについて活発な議論を行いました。

尚、 フォーラムの翌日には、JAXA山川理事長の御厚意により、JAXA・筑波宇宙センターへの見学および宇宙という先端領域における日ASEANの連携について特別講演を実施いただきました。
