On December 19, 2024, the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held its regular dialogue with the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) in Beijing.

Researchers and experts from both Japan and China participated in a lively exchange of views on Japan-US-China relations and broader international issues. The delegations were headed by Mr. Tomoyuki Yoshida, Chief Executive Director of JIIA, and Dr. Yang Mingjie, President of CICIR.
