The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held an online exchange of views with the New Strategy Center (NSC) of Romania on March 28, 2022.

In this lively discussion, the Japanese side presented its views regarding (1) the security situation surrounding the Korean Peninsula and (2) the effects of economic sanctions on Russia, while the Romanian side made presentations on (1) changes in North Atlantic relations over the situation in Ukraine and (2) security policy over the Eastern Mediterranean and Balkans.
