The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA), in collaboration with the Heritage Foundation, the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), and the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), held the "Quad-Plus Dialogue" online on February 14, 2022. At this dialogue, the four think tanks from Japan, the United States, Australia, and India, as well as experts from Taiwan, participated in a lively discussion on the current status and challenges of the Quad cooperation, and impact of recent international affairs on the region.
JIIA has participated in this dialogue since 2018. The meeting was organized in Tokyo in March 2018, and in Sydney in February 2019 (organized by ASPI). Since 2020, the dialogue has been conducted online in response to the spread of COVID-19.
