The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held an e-roundtable discussion with Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University in Iran, on September 7, 2021.
Moderated by Prof. Ryoji TATEYAMA, Emeritus Professor, Defense Academy of Japan, three presentations were made by faculty members at Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University: Dr. Mohsen Shariatinia, Assistant Professor of International Relations, Dr. Heidarali Masoudi, Assistant Professor of International Relations, Dr. Hamed Asgari Kermani, Research Fellow of International Relations, focusing on Iran's foreign policy vis-à-vis US, China, and other regional countries, such as India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Russia, together with possible scenarios for JCPOA. Their presentations were followed by comments and questions from Prof. Toru ONOZAWA, Professor, Kyoto University, Dr. Mari Nukii, Assistant Professor, Bunkyo Gakuin University, and other participants.
