The Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) held the public webinar "Reconsidering the Korean War: From the Perspectives of Japan, East Germany, South Korea, and China" on April 24, 2021.
The Korean War is an important historical event when considering the course of post-war Japan and of post-war East Asia, while at the same time it remains a present-day problem. In this webinar, the participants re-examined the Korean War, which began over 70 years ago, from the perspectives of Japan, East Germany, South Korea, and China.
